Production Philosophy

Good Things Take Time

Made in small batch productions to ensure nothing is wasted.

Sustainable practices don’t only benefit the environment, but also benefit business, and these elements are inextricably linked for us.

Fully-fashioned knitwear—where the garment is shaped into panels, or knitted directly into the shape of the garment—is a naturally zero-waste process (our founder Hannah has always loved the efficiency of this!). Compared to cut-and-sew, and working with woven fabrics from a roll, nothing is cut away. Perhaps there are some small threads or the end of a ball of yarn leftover, and we integrate those into our special one-off pieces ensuring everything is used and created into something special.

We work on a basis of small batch, rolling productions. That means no seasons, no big collection launches, and it means we can be responsive, efficient, and fluid in responding to what products are doing well, and what people want. We never have stock leftovers or hold piles of product in a warehouse or shipping facility. Being able to have this back and forth with our customers allows us to uphold our sustainable practices as well as be a healthy business.

We are women owned, and women powered, as well as 100% self funded. Buying or ordering something from us, even though you may wait a little bit longer for it, makes a huge difference for us.
