Made in small batch productions to ensure nothing is wasted.
I could speak forever about the problems faced in the Fashion Industry. I will assume, if you are here, you know something about the incredible wastage that the industry produces.
Sustainable practices don’t only benefit the environment, but also benefit business, and these elements are inextricably linked for us.
Fully Fashioned Knitwear - where the garment is shaped into panels, or directly into the shape of the garment is a naturally zero waste process (I have always loved the efficiency of this!). Compared to Cut and Sew, and working with woven fabrics from a roll, nothing is cut away. Perhaps there are some small threads or the end of a ball of yarn leftover, and we integrate those into our special one-off pieces ensuring everything is used and created into something special.
We work on a basis of small batch, rolling productions. That means no seasons, no big collection launches, and it means we can be responsive, efficient and fluid in responding to what products are doing well, and what people want. We never have stock leftover or hold piles of product in a warehouse or shipping facility. Being able to have this back and forth with our customers allows us to uphold our sustainable practices as well as be a healthy business.
We are women owned, and women powered, as well as 100% self funded. Taking part in our pre-order launches, even though you may be waiting a little bit longer for something, makes a huge difference for us.
